Aimee Friesenhahn
Primary Grades Math Specialist
As a child Aimee Friesenhahn always had a love for math. She moved to Austin from SE TX to attend the University of Texas where she majored in math with a concentration in actuarial sciences and completed her education coursework. She discovered the hill country upon graduating college and began her teaching career in Dripping Springs!
Aimee has taught various levels of middle school mathematics as well as preschool for 12 years. While teaching, she pursued her master’s degree in accounting from Texas State University. She worked in public accounting preparing taxes and audits and holds her CPA license. After starting a family, she returned to her passion of teaching and working with kids and is excited to share it with the students of Blaze.
Aimee believes that each student is unique and capable of reaching their full potential with the proper motivation and dedication. Each student has his or her strengths upon which he or she can excel to be positive contributors and leaders in the classroom and society as they grow and mature.
Outside of the classroom, Aimee enjoys spending time with family and her dog, and watching her 2 children’s activities. She also enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and playing pickleball in her free time.
